Mini apple turnovers

Since I'm on a hiatus from taking orders, I am kind of going through a baking withdrawal of sorts. I decided to make these simple mini apple turnovers. I very rarely post recipes, but this was too simple not to share. I got inspiration from a pin I saw on Pinterest, and altered the recipe a bit, to make it a lot simpler. I had a package of crescent rolls, and ran to the corner store (well, Dollar General), for the apple pie filling. Hope y'all enjoy!

Ingredients:
2 pkg Crescent Rolls
1 can apple pie filling
Cinnamon sugar
4 tbsp melted butter

Directions:
Preheat oven according to the directions on the crescent roll package, and line a large cookie sheet with parchment paper. Unroll crescent rolls and separate; sprinkle cinnamon sugar (to your liking) on each piece. Take a slice of the canned apple, sprinkle a little more cinnamon sugar on top of the apple slice. Roll up each crescent, and tuck the ends underneath. Place on parchment lined cookie sheet and brush melted butter on top. Sprinkle each roll with more cinnamon sugar and bake according to directions on the crescent roll package.

When they're done, and a nice golden brown, you can brush a little more butter on top, if you like it extra buttery. Allow turnovers to cool for about 3 or 4 minutes before indulging. They are soooo yummy!
